Structure of Teaching Materials - MeiZhou Chinese:  The fourth volume curriculum takes the empathy of students aged 10 to 12 as the starting point, integrates the twelve themes of "American Chinese" and STEM elements, and compiles ten lessons of children's poems and texts that are close to life, humorous, interesting, and inspirational. and stories, such as: Dialogue with Words, Apple Picking and the Nursing Home, Thanksgiving Day Jokes and the Parade, My Last name Is Not Wang and Ma So Hu Hu, Making Dumplings and Stone Soup, Chunxiao and Where Is the Trash, Smart Medicine and Shennong, and Planets, Earth, North Star and Compass, Journey to the West - Havoc in Heaven, etc.

1. Training students to tell stories is the first goal: to be able to tell the ten stories in the textbook.

2. Train students to read aloud: they must be able to read ancient poems and short articles in the text.

3. Train students to read: be able to read texts fluently (without Chinese Pinyin).

4. Learning of new words: There are 147 new words and 291 new phrases in this book. Only those who can speak the new words can memorize the new words.

5. Idiom practice: select 40-50 (students need to be able to understand and pragmatically, reading and writing are not required).

教材結構 - 美洲華語：本冊的課程以10歲至12歲學生的同理心為出發點，整合《美洲華語》十二個主題和STEM的元素，編寫成十課貼近生活、詼諧有趣並具有勵志性的童詩、課文和故事，如：字的對話、摘蘋果與老人院、感恩節說笑話與大遊行、我不姓王與馬馬虎虎、包餃子與石頭湯、春曉與垃圾哪裡去了、聰明藥與神農氏、行星、地球、北極星與指南針、西遊記-大鬧天宮等。

1. 訓練學生講故事為第一目標：要能講課本中的十個故事。

2. 訓練學生朗讀：要能朗讀課文中的古詩和短文。

3. 訓練學生閱讀：能夠流利地讀課文(無漢語拼音)。

4. 生字詞的學習：本冊有 147 個生字和 291個生詞，生詞會說即可，生字能默寫。

5. 成語練習：選取 40-50 個 (學生需要能理解和語用，不要求讀寫) 。

Students are required to wear uniforms during classes, short sleeves are $20 and long sleeves are $20. Purchase one when you pay the tuition fee and select the size for your uniform. Pick up when the school starts. Navy Blue Khaki trousers and white sneakers may be purchased at stores such as Kohl’s, Target or Walmart.
